Alcock billiard tables have been recognised as of outstanding quality in many ways during the long life of the business.  During the 19th Century they were first recognised by the then reigning World Billiards Champion, John Roberts.  In 1867 an Alcock billiard table was selected by the then Victorian Government as a gift for Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh (second son of Queen Victoria) during his visit to the Colonies of Australasia.

Alcocks has won prizes at major Australian and International Furniture Exhibitions. Alcock billiard tables have been used continually in major billiards and snooker championships and tournaments including events at national and international levels, the most recent being the hugely successful 2019 World Professional Billiards Championship.

Throughout Australia Alcock billiard tables are found at many prestige locations, clubs, corporate and service organisations and countless private homes.  Alcock billiard tables have also been exported to European and Asian countries and to North and South America.

During 1988, Alcocks joined forces with the highly regarded Sydney billiards company, Heiron & Smith Billiards Pty Ltd, established in 1883. Together, since this time, our Companies have supplied high quality billiard and pool tables and equipment to clients in most areas of Australia.
