For more than a hundred years, in the Billiard Rooms of major clubs and private individuals, the classic two Roller Marking Board* has been a necessary piece of equipment. Today there are several substitute styles of Marking Board available, but, if you are aiming to develop your Billiard Room in the Traditional style, the classic two Roller Board plays a part in producing that atmosphere.

This Marking Board was made by Alcocks probably during the early to middle years of the Twentieth Century

*(We refer to such classic scoring devices as Marking Boards rather than Scoreboards because, for hundreds of years the person controlling a classic game of Billiards, including keeping the Score, was known as the “Marker”)
