The Barrel Leg Model Table was originally developed by Alcock & Co during the first few years of the 20th Century.
In our opinion Table No 6030 would have been made during the early years of the Sturt Street, South Melbourne, factory, post 1905. It features Tasmanian Blackwood and Queensland maple timbers, including striking figured Blackwood on the cushion rails.
This Table to be fitted with:
- new English Trufast moulded rubber cushions
- new Strachan 6811 30 oz fine grade West of England cloth
The cushion rails to be entirely re-polished, and the remaining show timbers to be upgraded to good antique status.
The table comes with the following new and antique* accessories:
